1. The short version
- The homepage preview is free. No card is needed, and if you do not love it, you pay nothing.
- Once work on your full site has started, payments are not refundable, except under our Love-it guarantee.
- Love-it guarantee: if the finished site does not match the design you approved and we cannot fix it within 14 days, you get your money back.
- Monthly plans have no minimum term and are not refunded for part of a month.
- Billing mistakes are always refunded in full.
This policy is part of our Terms and Conditions. If you have signed a Client Service Agreement, that agreement wins if the two ever disagree.
2. Before you pay
We design your homepage free, with one round of changes. Nothing is charged until you approve it. If you decide not to go ahead, there is nothing to pay and nothing to refund.
3. Setup fees and pay-once prices
The setup fee (monthly plans) and the pay-once price are charged when you approve your design. For Growth and Pro paid once, half is charged at approval and half before handover.
- If you cancel after approval but before we start work on your full site, we refund what you paid in full.
- Once work on your full site has started, these payments are not refundable, except under the Love-it guarantee below. Starter sites usually start the same day, as they go live within 24 hours.
4. Our Love-it guarantee
If your finished website does not substantially match the design you approved, tell us in writing within 30 days of launch. We will fix it at no charge. If we cannot make it match within 14 days of your notice, we will refund your setup fee (monthly plans) or the amount you paid (pay once), and you will stop using the website.
The guarantee covers the match to the design you approved. It does not cover later changes of mind or new requests, which we are happy to quote, or search rankings and results, which no one can promise (see section 12 of our Terms).
5. Monthly plans, care plans and Stay found
- Monthly fees pay for the month ahead and are not refunded for part of a month, unused updates or unused services.
- Website monthly plans and care plans: cancel any time with 30 days' notice. You are charged for any billing date that falls within the notice period, and nothing after it.
- Stay found: cancel any time. You are not charged again, and the service runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
- If we raise a monthly price, we give at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
6. Add-ons and one-time services
This covers the web app, extra languages, online booking or a small store, Get found setup, website makeovers, AI setup and training, and other quoted work.
- If you cancel before we start the work, we refund what you paid in full.
- Once we have started, these payments are not refundable.
- If we cannot deliver an add-on as described, we refund what you paid for that add-on.
7. Domains and third-party costs
Domain registrations, including premium names, cannot be refunded once registered, because registrars do not return the fee. Costs you pay directly to other companies, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, paid booking tools or advertising, are refunded only under those companies' own policies.
8. Billing mistakes
If you are charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged after a cancellation took effect, tell us within 60 days of the charge and we will refund the difference in full.
9. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with "Refund" in the subject line, your business name and the reason. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the card or bank account you paid with within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
10. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster. If a charge that was properly made is disputed, we may pause work and take the website offline until the matter is resolved.
11. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived by agreement.
