Is there a website builder that only charges a one-time fee?
Almost none. Builders like Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy rent you the site for a monthly or yearly fee, and you build it yourself. A one-time fee usually means hiring someone to build it for you. With us the website is $299, $999 or $1,999 once, depending on size, and it is yours once paid.
Can I have a website with no monthly fees at all?
Every website lives on hosting somewhere, and a domain name renews each year, usually $10 to $25. What you can avoid is paying a company every month just to keep a site you never own. Our website is one fee. Care, which covers hosting, updates and changes by email, is optional from $49 a month, or we put the site on hosting in your own name.
How much should a small business pay for a website?
For a local business, $300 to $2,000 buys a solid site from a done-for-you studio. Ask what is included: who writes the words, whether Google and Maps are set up, and who owns the files. Our Starter is $299 for up to 3 pages, Growth is $999 for 4 to 12 pages and Pro is $1,999 for 13 to 25.
Do I really own the website?
Yes. Once it is paid, every file, image and login is yours, and the domain is registered in your name. If you ever leave, we hand everything over.
What if I need changes later?
On a care plan, small changes like hours, prices and photos are included: you email us and we make them. Without care, changes are quoted before we start.
Is there a catch?
No. You see your homepage designed free on a short video call before you pay anything. If you don't love it, you pay nothing.
