Stuck on "No more ways to verify"? How we got a Google profile verified in a day.

A real client, a Google Business Profile Google would not verify, and a message most owners take as the end of the road. Here is what we did, and what you can try if it happens to you.

Published October 9, 2026 by TruHint Digital

A licensed local business came to us with a problem many owners know too well. Their Google Business Profile existed, but it was not verified, so it did not show properly on Google Maps or Search. Every verification attempt had failed, and Google was now showing a short message: "No more ways to verify."

No postcard option. No phone option. No video option. For most owners, that is where it ends. They give up, or they pay someone who promises a shortcut that breaks Google's rules. We did neither.

Why profiles get stuck

  • Details that do not match. The business name, address or phone on the profile differs from the website, signage or other listings.
  • Too many attempts. Repeated failed or abandoned verifications can use up the options Google offers.
  • A shared or unusual address. Suites, shared offices and virtual addresses get extra scrutiny.
  • Similar business names. If another company has a name close to yours, Google can be cautious, or mix the two up.

What we did

1. Cleaned up the evidence first

Before asking Google for anything, we made sure the business looked the same everywhere: the exact legal name, address, phone and hours on the website, the profile and the main listings. We gathered clear photos of the permanent signage, the office entrance and the street, plus documents showing the business is real and operates at that address.

2. Found the support route most people miss

When verification options run out, Google still has a way to reach its support team, but it sits at the end of the verification status checker and is easy to miss. We clicked through every step until the "contact our support team" link appeared, and opened it directly rather than pasting the address, which matters.

3. Asked for live video verification

In the support form we explained the situation plainly, attached the signage and address photos, and asked for a live video call so a Google agent could see the business in person.

4. Followed up in the right places

We stayed polite and patient in Google's official channels, and kept every message short and factual. No pressure, no tricks.

The result

The profile was verified about one day after the support form went in. The business now shows on Google Search and Maps with its address, phone, hours, website and directions.

Then we finished the job properly:

  • Chose the right primary and secondary categories
  • Wrote a clear description and listed every service
  • Added a booking button, real photos, a logo and a cover image
  • Set up call forwarding so no Google call goes unanswered
  • Created a review link and a simple way to ask happy clients for reviews

A bonus problem: Google's AI had the wrong owner

While checking the results, we noticed Google's AI summary was naming the owner of a different company with a similar name. We added clear, structured details to the client's website, including the founder and their license numbers, and sent a correction to Google. These signals help Google and AI tools tell similar businesses apart.

If your profile is stuck, try this

  1. Make your name, address and phone identical everywhere.
  2. Take clear photos of your permanent signage, entrance and street.
  3. Click all the way through Google's verification status checker until you reach the link to contact support.
  4. Explain your case simply, attach your photos, and ask for live video verification.
  5. Never buy reviews, use a fake address, or pay anyone promising a guaranteed shortcut. It can get your profile suspended for good.

Rather have it handled? Our Google Profile Rescue is $399 once. We work through every step with Google to get a stuck, suspended or unverifiable profile verified and fixed, then set it up properly. Google always makes the final decision, so we promise the work, never the outcome.
